The Stages at Shadowbox Live
Shadowbox Live is located in the historic Brewery District of downtown Columbus. The company’s metaperformers own and operate two stages:
Shadowbox Live Main Stage
Theater Setup
The Main Stage is a versatile performance space designed in the black box theater tradition, to support the ever-changing, genre-shifting bodies of work we present across our original production artforms.
The venue uses a cabaret seating plan to hosts audiences around tables and chairs, where they can enjoy food and drinks before the show.

Up Front at Shadowbox Live hosts independent performing artists and presenters that want to bring their passion projects to a live audience.
This 100-seat cabaret has developed a reputation for providing a unique experience for performers and patrons alike, presenting weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly show series.

Parking
GARAGE (Blenkner Street, between S High and S Front Streets)
Enter the garage via S High Street by turning west onto Blenkner. Enter garage on the right.
YOU WILL PAY WHEN YOU EXIT. Cash or credit/debit is accepted.
SURFACE LOT #1 (Liberty Street, directly behind Shadowbox Live)
Travel on S Front Street and turn west onto Liberty Street. Enter the lot on the right.
The rate is $6. Cash or credit/debit is accepted. If there is no attendant, use the auto pay box in the NW corner of the lot. Once your information is entered, printed tickets are not necessary.
This lot is NOT available for weekday matinee parking.
SURFACE LOT #2 (Liberty Street, one block west of Shadowbox Live)
Head west on Liberty Street, travel one block to enter lot on the left.
Rates range from $2 – $5. Cash or credit/debit is accepted via auto pay stands at the NE or NW corners of the lot.
This lot is NOT available for weekday matinee parking.
PARKING METERS
Meters are available along Front, Liberty, Hoster, and Beck Streets. Meters run for a maximum of 3 hours and accept credit cards or coins.
Meters are free on Sunday.
BREWMASTER’S GATE (Directly north of Shadowbox Live)
Travel on S Front Street and turn west onto Liberty Street. Enter the lot on the right and continue to the covered parking building. Rates are $8. To pay, scan the QR code on the signs posted on the side of the building. Please note: the outside pay station does not apply to this lot.
This lot is available for weekday matinee and evening parking.

Venue Policies
Food & Drink Service
Our performance venues offer food and drink service before every show and during intermission. Anyone who orders beer or alcohol will be asked to show valid ID. View our menu here.
Outside food and drink is restricted. Corkage and Slicing fees are available for select items. For more information, email events@shadowboxlive.org.
Late Seating
If you are late for a performance, our box office will seat you as soon as possible.
The House Manager reserves the right to delay entry at a time that may be disruptive to the performance.
Show Etiquette
When the show begins, refrain from loud talking and mobile device use.
Our art is a shared expression of joy based on a mutual respect between the actor and the audience and demands your attention. Check messages and resume your table conversations at intermission and after the show.
Photography and Recording
Photographing or recording your favorite moments of any show – with no flashes or lighting – is permitted.
When you select your moments, consider the community of actors, technicians, and fellow audience members in the house and avoid using bright screens for long periods of time.
Ticket Exchanges
Tickets can be exchanged for any other available Shadowbox Live performance at the same ticket price.
If you wish to exchange your ticket for a showtime at higher price, the value of your current ticket may be applied.

Weapons and Firearm Policy
To provide a safe space where live art can be shared joyfully by all, the possession of firearms or dangerous weapons of any type (including, but not limited to explosives and knives), concealed or unconcealed, is prohibited. Anyone found in possession of these items will be asked to immediately leave the premises.
