Accessibility at Shadowbox Live & Up Front

Everyone is welcome here, and getting here should be the easy part. Here’s what you need to know.

Getting in.

Both theaters sit on the main floor at 503 S. Front Street in the Brewery District. There’s flat, step-free access from the parking lot to the door — no stairs, no elevator needed.

Parking.

The two closest lots are both right behind the building: the Liberty Street surface lot and the covered Brewmaster’s Gate lot. The Liberty Street lot has designated accessible parking spaces, and from either lot it’s a flat walk to our door. General parking rates and directions are on our parking page.

Seating.

We seat cabaret-style, around tables and chairs. In the Main Stage, all of Section A on the main floor is wheelchair accessible, as is the front row of the first tier, house left of Section B. In Up Front, every table is wheelchair accessible except the bar-stool tables along the perimeter of the space. When you buy tickets online, pick your table as usual — if you’d like a hand choosing the right spot, call the box office at (614) 416-7625 and we’ll set you up before showtime.

Restrooms.

Our restrooms in the theater and in Up Front both include wheelchair-accessible stalls.

Sign language interpretation.

We can refer you to interpreters we work with — just call the box office at (614) 416-7625 in advance and we’ll help you set it up before your show.
